Simone Carbonara born in Genoa, Italy in 1983, I started my career at the age of  fourteen, following my father's footsteps, performing as a singer in the most prestigious resorts and hotels in the Eastern Ligurian Riviera, in France Cote d'Azur  and in North Italy Cortina, Cervinia and Madonna di Campiglio with a repertoire of classical American jazz and Soul music.
 

At the age of eighteen I moved to Milan where, for three years, I attended the Milan’s Academy for the Arts “M.A.S. Music Arts Show”, one of the most prestigious and comprehensive Italian Academy of Musical, Under the guidance of various teachers among them Alice Ricciardi I learned about singing, dancing and theatre, as well as playing the piano and the guitar.

During my artistic career I have performed many times with the singer Neffa: as a chorister in the major Italian cities during his summer tours, at live events and in  various television programs and Radio Talk show “Festival Bar - Video ITALIA - T.O.P. - RTL Summer Tour”and broadcast live from Monaco for “RDS”.

Since 2005 I am working on a variety of projects in cooperation with “Radio 105” and “Radio Monte Carlo” for the production of radio jingles - Recently I have been chosen to attend the television show “Italialand”, a program that is broadcasted on TV Channel LA7, directed by Maurizio Crozza, where I performed as a singer and actor as well, in two of the their most popular comic comedies.

In Milano, at The Scimmie, a jazz bar famous for its music, I sang with the “Nu Gospel Choir and the Joyful Noiz” Choir, a live show  created and directed by vocalist Stefano de Maco, with songs taken from the traditional repertoire of spirituals, gospel and electronic-funk music.

At the Teatro Dal Verme, in Milan I performed in the concert "The Passion Of Peoples" with the orchestra of “I Pomeriggi Musicali” directed by  Bruno Santori, with musics and  arrangements taken from the  African culture.

Following these experiences in Milano, I joined the team of singers of the agency “Selection”, performing as a dancer and singer in various productions inspired by the American Musicals, on board the fleets  of “Costa CrocIere - Costa Cruises Lines”.

Since 2011 I work with the agency “Camus” of Torre del Greco, for whom I perform in various shows on board the MSC Magnifica Cruise Ship from “MSC Cruises” with a classical repertoire together with international group of artists.

 

In 2012, together with the record label "1st Pop" in Verona, takes part in the Sanremo music workshop area, which allows access to the prestigious event of the “Festival di Sanremo”, with the new song "Non Smetter Di Ballare". The following year he released his second single "Qui Per Sempre" broadcast on nationwide radio and available on iTunes.

 

My  original passion for jazz and Swing has found its realization  in occasion of  the encounter with the Maestro Nando de Luca, with whom I have realized  a project  that  sees us together in the Show and DVD "On Broadway". From here, the idea of a new musical “SWING WITH ME”, that allows me to range,vocally speaking, in the wonderful world of swing.

 

In 2014 I participate to the famous italian charity show "30 Ore Per La Vita", conducted by Lorella Cuccarini and Marco Columbro, together with the singer Mimma Barra perform a Broadway medley. In one of the seven nights of the show I sung with Arianna Bergamaschi, the Italian protagonist of the musical "Beauty and the Beast" singing the song who give the title to the show.

 

In 2015 I have the opportunity to perform for the Openings of the new fashion brand Twinset all over Europe and Italy; singing a new repertuar of songs and style, with mashups of new hits mixed with old traditional Soul and R&B music.

 

Also in 2015 I start the project of a new band called Mister Funk with Marco Belli (E.Piano) - Jerry Santonocito (Drums) - Rocco Costarelli (Bass). A journey through the black funky music of 70’s, singing immortal songs of artist like Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Gino Vannelli and many more.

 

In December 2015 I worked as Leading Singer at “Circus Conelli” in Zurich with a live orchestra. A big production who sees me singing and dancing a different repertoire from the newest pop song to the old style of quartet singer such as Four Tops and Temptations.

 

In 2016 returns, after nine years of absence, in Japan on board of Asuka II, the best Japanese luxury Cruise Company where he will performing in the show on board accompanied by a big band of eight elements.

Simone Carbonara nasce a Genova nel 1983, figlio d'arte, inizia la sua carriera alla giovane età di 14 anni esibendosi,come cantante, nei più prestigiosi locali e alberghi della riviera ligure di levante, costa azzurra e note località montane eseguendo un repertorio di standard jazz, soul music ed evergreen.

 

All'età di 18 anni si trasferisce a Milano dove frequenta una tra le più importanti scuole di formazione per lo spettacolo d'Europa: M.A.S. Music, Art & Show dove durante i tre anni accademici approfondisce lo studio del canto, correlato da materie supplementari quali chitarra e pianoforte, e si perfeziona sotto la guida di diversi insegnanti tra i quali Alice Ricciardi.

 

Durante il suo percorso artistico collabora con il cantante Neffa come corista nel suo tour estivo, esibendosi nelle principali capitali italiane, in manifestazioni dal vivo e programmi televisivi: Festival Bar - Video Italia - T.O.P. - RTL Summer Tour e in diretta radiofonica da Montecarlo per RDS.

 

Nel 2005 inizia la collaborazione con Radio 105 e Radio Montecarlo per la realizzazione di jingles radiofonici, inoltre partecipa, recentemente, alla trasmissione Italialand (nuove attrazioni) di Maurizio Crozza in onda su LA7 come corista/attore in due degli sketch più popolari del comico.

 

Nel percorso musicale di Simone Carbonara non mancano sperimentazioni come l'esperienza nel coro Gospel "Nu Choir and the Joyful Noiz" dal repertorio tradizionale di spirituals, gospel elettronico e funk presentato a Le Scimmie di Milano, creato e diretto dal vocalist Stefano de Maco; un'altra perfomance interessante è il concerto "La Passione Dei Popoli" tenutosi al Teatro dal Verme di Milano con l'orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali diretta del maestro Bruno Santori, dove si avvertono negli arrangiamenti contaminazioni di sonorità africane.

 

In seguito all'esperienza Milanese entra a far parte della scuderia di cantanti dell'Agenzia Musicale “Selection” esibendosi, in produzioni cantate e ballate ispirate ai musical, nei prestigiosi teatri a bordo della flotta di Costa Crociere.

 

Nel 2011 viene ingaggiato dall'agenzia “Camus” di Torre del Greco per esibirsi negli shows della Msc Magnifica, nave ammiraglia della flotta MSC Crociere, con un repertorio classico ed internazionale, alternato ad artisti ed acrobati di fama mondiale.

 

Nel 2012 assieme all’etichetta discografica “1st Pop” di Verona, partecipa al laboratorio musicale Area Sanremo, che permette l’accesso alla  prestigiosa rassegna canora italiana del Festival di Sanremo, con il brano inedito “Non Smetter Di Ballare”.

L’anno successivo esce il suo secondo singolo “Qui Per Sempre” trasmesso in radio a livello nazionale e disponibile su iTunes.

 

L'originale passione per il jazz e lo swing di Simone Carbonara si concretizza nell'incontro con il maestro Nando de Luca, dal quale nascerà una collaborazione che li vedrà insieme nello spettacolo e dvd "On Broadway", da qui l'idea dell'ultimo e nuovo progetto musicale "Swing With Me" uno show che gli permette di spaziare vocalmente nel meraviglioso mondo dello swing.

 

Nel 2014 partecipa alla manifestazione "30 Ore Per La Vita", condotta da Lorella Cuccarini e Marco Columbro, assieme alla cantante salernitana Mimma Barra dove si esibiscono in un medley dedicato alle più belle melodie di Broadway. In una delle sette serate duetta con Arianna Bergamaschi, protagonista italiana del musical "La Bella E La Bestia" cantando l'omonima canzone che ha reso celebre lo spettacolo.

 

Nel 2015 sarà l'artista che inaugurerà e aprirà gli eventi per Twinset, del nuovo brand italiano in Europa e Italia con un repertorio fresco e ricco di mashups tra le canzoni italiane più classiche e nuovi successi internazionali radiofonici.

 

Sempre nel 2015 Simone inizia un nuovo progetto Mister Funk, in compagnia di tre musicisti liguri Marco Belli (Piano Elettrico) - Jerry Santonocito (Batteria) - Rocco Costarelli (Basso Elettrico). Un viaggio musicale attraverso le canzoni funk degli anni 70 ad oggi.

 

Nel Dicembre 2015 lavora presso uno dei circhi più prestigiosi del panorama circense "Circus Conelli" accompagnato da una band di 20 elementi in una produzione internazionale tra ballerini cantanti ed artisti.

 

Nel 2016 ritorna, dopo nove anni di assenza, in Giappone a bordo di Asuka II, la miglior compagnia di lusso giapponese dove lo vedrà esibirsi negli show di bordo accompagnato da una big band  di otto elementi.
